Open Vuln Search: A Search engine for vulnerabilies.

ubuntu: A Free Debian based Linux OS that is very easy to use. Unless you are playing games I would recommend this over windows. 

Tor: The onion router. This is a good anonymizing service for the internet. It  is similar to using a chain of Socks proxies.  Vulnerable to DNS leakage. so if you use this you may want to use a program such as DNSeye. Tor is decent with speed, but keep in mind it does slow down your connection quite a bit.

Freecap: This is a program that is useful for redirecting a programs network traffic thru a socks proxy. Works very well with Tor

Tor on Ubuntu: This simply shows how to set up Tor for ubuntu.

i2p: This is another anonymizing effort that as I have heard is a little more effective than Tor. It is also alot slower. It is good for P2P traffic.

PeerGuardian: They are working on a Vista compatible version. Works very good for XP. It blocks certain IPs (such as Microsoft, RIAA, MPAA, as well as many Universities). If you use Vista I would suggest using the SafePeer Plugin for Azureus.

Moblock: Pretty much a Peerguardian for Linux. does not work well with Firestarter. For me it works if you start firestarter then Moblock it works fine. I am currently working this out to get a stable working combo.

Cantenna: I just thought that this was cool. I have not made one yet, but I will just to see if it works.
